These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of academyofscienceandarts.org (“the website”), operated by the Academy of Science and Arts (“the Academy”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
02. About the content
The website presents the Academy’s programs and the research of Joseph P. Firmage and colleagues, including the KAIROS reports, papers, and essays.
Publications present the authors’ hypotheses, models, and interpretations. They are not presented as independently validated scientific findings, and the visualizations on the website are conceptual. Content is provided for general information and education, and is not professional, financial, medical, or engineering advice.
03. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all content on the website — including text, publications, images, graphics, and the Academy’s name and logo — belongs to the Academy or its authors and is protected by copyright and other laws.
You may view, download, and print the public documents for your own personal, non-commercial use, and share links to them. You may quote short passages with clear attribution to the author and the Academy. Any other copying, republishing, or commercial use requires our written permission.
04. Fellowship and programs
The Academy Fellowship, ORIGAMI Observatory requests (including GIFT images), events such as the Cosmos Conference, and the HOLOIM Aerospace Alliance are arranged directly with the Academy by email or phone. Prices, benefits, dates, and availability shown on the website may change and are confirmed with you before you join or pay.
Annual Fellowship dues cover twelve months from the date your Fellowship begins. Any specific terms for a program — including renewal, cancellation, and refunds — are confirmed in writing when you join.
Observatory results are provided within the Academy’s responsibility guidelines, and the Academy may decline requests that fall outside them.
05. Acceptable use
When using the website you agree not to:
- use it in any unlawful way, or in a way that harms the Academy or anyone else;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers, or related systems;
- interfere with how the website works, including through automated scraping that puts heavy load on it;
- misrepresent your identity or your connection with the Academy.
06. Links to other sites
The website links to services we do not control, such as LinkedIn, X, document hosts, and viewers. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
07. No warranties
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no guarantee that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its content is complete or current.
08. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
